Kathryn Rundell

Kathryn “Kathy” Rundell, 60, of Brookville, died Thursday, November 7, 2024 at her home of natural causes.

Born on December 14, 1963 in Brookville, she was the daughter of Richard L. Smith, Sr. and the late Cora Troupe SmithHuffman.

She was a graduate of Brookville Area High School.

On September 27, 1986 in Northeast, PA., she married Ernest Rundell, Sr. He preceded her in death on May 5, 2024.

She spent her life caring for her home and children. 

Her pastimes included animal recues, crafts, coloring, diamond painting, jewelry making, crocheting, puzzles, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Those surviving are her father and step mother, Richard and Wanda Smith, Sr.; her son, Ernest Rundell, Jr.; her daughter, Amber Rundell; her brother, Richard (Tammy) Smith, Jr.; and her sister, Sherry (John) Kerr.

Those preceding her in death in addition to her mother and husband are her step father, Robert Huffman; and her sister, Kimberly Hoffman.

Furlong Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements for Mrs. Rundell.
