Kathy E. Haugh, 73, of Brookville, died Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Shippenville Healthcare following a period of declining health.
Born on April 6, 1951 in Brookville, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Meriam Stitt Shook.
She was a graduate of Union High School and continued her education at Duff’s Business Institute and Clarion County Career Center where she obtained her LPN licensure.
On October 22, 1971 at Curllsville U.C. Church she married Leonard Haugh. He survives.
Prior to her retirement she worked at numerous health care facilities, Clarion College, Aaron Accounting and Wal-Mart.
Her memberships include Roseville Church of Christ, Roseville Grange, Secret Sister, American Legion Auxiliary and Penn State Master Gardener.
She enjoyed doing puzzles, playing BINGO, gardening, volunteering for Jefferson County Fair, singing, riding motorcycle with Len, caring for her grandchildren and helping as a C-L band parent when her girls were in school.
Those surviving in addition to her husband, Leonard are her daughters, Jennifer (Jason) Schimizzi, Erin (Art) Ramsey, Kelli (Mike) Campbell and Andrea Buzard; her grandchildren, Sierra, Isabella, Gianna, Giles, Nathaniel, Alexander, Brendon, Alexis, Emily, Logan, Madilyn, Audrey and Luella; her brothers, Robert (Janet) Shook and Walter (Nancy) Shook; her sister, Nancy (Tom) Rettig; as well many extended family members.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville has been entrusted with the final arrangements for Mrs. Haugh.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 2PM at Rimersburg United Church of Christ.
