Kathy Miller Obituary

Kathy D. Miller, 72, of Brookville died Monday, August 18, 2025 at Punxsutawney Hospital after a long and courageous battle with Polysistic Kidney Disease.

Born February 8, 1953 in Brookville, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Margaret McGarrity Clark.

She was a graduate of Clarion- Limestone High School.

On September 4, 1976 in Punxsutawney she married Jerry D. Miller. He survives.

Prior to retirement she worked for Dr. Lavely, Union 76 Truckstop, and she and her husband previously owned Miller Laundromat in Brookville. 

She was a member of the Strings N Things dulcimer group.

She enjoyed playing guitar, quilting, bird watching, and gardening. She especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren.

Kathy enjoyed hunting before she became ill and always had a good book with her to keep her company in the woods.

She also loved her pets. Kathy had many dogs over the years and especially loved Labrador Retrievers. 

Her survivors include her son, Chris (Lindsay) Miller; her daughter, Holly (Charles) Clinger; her four grandchildren, Jackson, Josie, Coye and Max; her brothers, Robert (Barb) Clark and Gary (Karen) Clark; and her sister, Margaret Clark Martin. Also, close friends Pam, Louise, Carol, and Cheryl.

Those preceding her in death in addition to her parents are her brothers, Billy and Johnny Clark.

Furlong Funeral home has been entrusted with the final arrangements for Mrs. Miller.

A “Celebration of Life” will be planned for a later date.
