Kenneth Bish

Kenneth “Ken” Bish, 67, of Brockport, died Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Clarion Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Born November 25, 1955 in Dubois, he was the son of the late John M. Bish and Louise Weary Bish Miller.

He was a graduate of Jeff Tech and was a member of Smithtown Community Church.

On July 18, 1975 in Summerville, he married the former Ida R. Smith. She survives.

Prior to his retirement he had been employed for many years at O-I Brockway as a machinist/journeyman.

He enjoyed hunting, vacationing and attending and watching his grandsons play sports.

In addition to his wife, Ida and mother, Louise, he was survived by his daughters, Stephanie (Andrew) Shields and Rebecca Bish; his grandsons, Evan, Joseph and Isaiah Shields; his step brothers, Glenn (Julie) Anthony and Larry (Judy) Anthony; as well as his step sister, Sandra Edwards.

Those preceding him in death in addition to his father are his step mother, Connie Bish; his step father William Miller and his brother, John Bish.

A prayer service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 11AM at Smithtown Community Church. A time of fellowship will follow in the church fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers his family suggests memorial donation be made in Mr. Bish’s memory to Smithtown Community Church, 3154 Smithtown Rd., Falls Creek, PA. 15840.
