Obituary
Kevin E. Shaffer, 45, of Brookville, died Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital following an illness.
Born on November 24, 1977 in Dubois, he was the son of the late Elliott E. Shaffer and Bonnie Greeley Shaffer. His mother survives.
He was 1996 graduate of Brookville High School and was a member of Sigel Sportsman Club.
Prior to illness he had first been employed by Goodwill Industries in Brookville and most recently for Mumford Tire in vehicle maintenance.
His pastimes included RC trucks and cars, hunting and he LOVED going to Dirt Track Races.
In addition to his mother, Bonnie, he is survived by his brother, Cliff Greeley; his step brother, John Shaffer; his step sister, Kathy Shaffer; his nephew and great nephew; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and extended family members.
His father preceded him in death.
Family will receive friends at Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA. on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 5-6PM with a memorial service to immediately follow at 6PM with Randy Matheny, officiating.
Memorial donations may be made in Mr. Shaffer’s memory to Sigel Sportsman Club.
