Lance H. Riley

Lance H. Riley, 49, of Summerville, passed away Friday, November 22, 2024 at Penn Highlands DuBois following a brief illness.

Born in Dubois on August 29, 1975, he was the son of Howell and Cheryl (Smith) Riley, Jr.

He was a graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School.

On December 22, 2018 in Summerville, he married the former Heather Daugherty. She survives.

At the time of his passing he was employed as a Team Leader at Beverage Air.

He was a member of Summerville Church of Christ.

Lance enjoyed spending time with his FAMILY, doing projects around his home, camping, riding motorcycles and SXS.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his sons, Tyler and Jake Owens; his brother, Corry (Lisa) Riley; his nieces, Hannah, Casey and Ali Riley; his maternal grandmother, Mary Ellen Smith; and his fur child, Chevonne.

Those preceding him in death are his paternal grandparents, Howell and Ola Riley, Sr.; and his maternal grandfather, Harold Smith, Jr.

His family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 2-4PM & 6-8PM at Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA.

An additional receiving hour will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 10-11AM at the Church of Christ, 12514 Harrison Street, Summerville, Pa prior to the funeral service which will be held at 11AM with the Minister Mike Smith, officiating.

A luncheon will follow at Haugh Hall located behind Summerville Church of Christ immediately following the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers his family suggests memorial donation be made in Lance’s name to CORE, 204 Sigma Drive, RIDC Park, Pittsburgh, PA. 15238.
