Lisa C. McKinney

Lisa C. McKinney, 61, passed away August 3, 2026, while at Penn Highlands DuBois.

Born on November 8,1964, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Nancy McKinney.

She was a graduate of Western School of the Deaf and Blind in Pittsburgh.

Prior to illness, she had been employed for over 25 years for Goodwill Industries.

She was a member of The Deaf Club and was of Christian faith.

Her pastimes included playing Skip-Bo card game, hanging out with her best friends and working at Goodwill.

Her survivors include her son, Brandon Grady; her daughters, Jamila Grady and Satara (Robert) Nelson; her grandchildren, Jayden, Phoenix, Ariana, Corran and Blake; her 4 brothers and 3 sisters; and her best friends, Elizabeth Huff, Melissa Castro and Marla Ball.

Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville had the honor of being entrusted with the final arrangements for Ms. McKinney.
