Lisa Marie "Mam Mam" Butler

Lisa Marie Butler, 46, of Marienville, died on Monday June 25, 2018 at the Clarion Hospital after a long battle with ovarian cancer.

She was born on August 24, 1971 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late Earl Styen and Gerry (Cooper) Morrissey, she survives in Marienville.  Lisa was a graduate of Oliver High School in Pittsburgh and received a bachelor's degree in Medical Coding from Sawyer College. 

On April 9, 1988 Lisa was married to Brian K. Butler at St. Michael's in Pittsburgh.  She was employed as a CNA at Snyder Memorial Health Care Center in Marienville for twelve years until her health wouldn't allow it any more.  Lisa was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Brookville.

Lisa was a member of the VFW auxiliary and youth field days, both of Marienville.  She enjoyed crafts, fishing, hunting, and spending time with her family.

Along with her mother, Lisa is survived by her husband, Brian Butler; a daughter, Kayla Butler of Lucinda,  and fiance Steve Crosby; a son, Jake Butler and wife Kelly of Marienville; grandsons, Coltin Carr (who lived with Lisa and Brian) and Eli Butler of Marienville; a grand-daughter, Grace Butler of Lucinda; brothers, Sonny Styen and wife Tanya of Marienville, and Steve Morrissey of Franklin; a sister, Christina Rossey and husband Mike of Marienville; her step father, "Poppies"; "her other mother", Michele Hubert; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Earl; a brother, Gary Styen and step-brother Mike Morrissey.

Friends and family will be received on Friday June 29, 2018 from 2 - 4 PM and 7 - 9 PM at the Furlong Funeral Home, 140 Cherry Street, Marienville, PA.  A VFW Auxiliary service will be held at 7 PM.  A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday June 30, 2018 at 11 AM at the Marienville United Methodist Church (121 N. Forest St., Marienville, PA), with Pastor Ben Austin of Grace Lutheran Church officiating.

Interment with graveside committal service will follow at Tree Trimmer's Rest Cemetery, Farmington Twp., Clarion County, PA.  Following the committal service a luncheon will be held at the Grace Lutheran Church, located at 160 Franklin Ave., Brookville, PA.
