Mary Lou Therese Sharrow

Mary Lou Therese (Huss) Sharrow, 82, of Marienville, died Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Snyder Memorial Home in Marienville.

Born February 23, 1936 in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Ethel (Cousino) Huss.

Mrs. Sharrow was an accomplished organist.  She was a 1954 graduate of St. Ursula Music Academy in Toledo, OH.  She played for St. Ann Church for many years.   Her proudest accomplishment is being the mother to three sons who love music as much as she did.  She was a member of the St. Ann Women's Club.

Mrs. Sharrow is survived by her sons, Richard D. Sharrow and his wife, Joanie, of Marienville, Daniel D. Sharrow of Marienville, and Charles D. Sharrow of Marienville; two sisters, Janet Lee Dennehy and her husband, John, of Toledo, OH and Suzanne E. Breitsprecker of Dubuque, IA; one brother, Richard E. Huss of Marienville; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold D. Sharrow; her companion, Andrew Pastilock; and her brother, Edward Huss.

There will be a visitation on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Furlong Funeral Home, 140 Cherry St., Marienville, PA.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM at St. Ann Church in Marienville with the Rev. Christopher Barnes, pastor, as Celebrant.

 Interment will follow at St. Ann Cemetery, Jenks Twp., Forest County. 

The family suggests that memorial donations be made to St. Ann Church in Marienville, PA.
