Michael R. Fields Sr.

Michael R. Fields, Sr., 68, of DuBois, passed away at his home on Friday, June 5, 2026 of natural causes.

Born in DuBois on May 12, 1958, he was the son of the late Horace and Norma Britton Fields.

He attended both Ridgeway and Brockway High School.

In Dubois he married the former Linda Hendricks. She preceded him in death.

In the past he had worked for M&B Redi Mix and was a truck driver for Reynoldsville Casket Company.

He enjoyed participating in trivia night with his family and caring for his cats, Diamond, Buddy, Oreo, Jax, Dummy and Baby.

His survivors include his sons, Jason (Kari) Fields and Michael (Trisha) Fields, Jr.; his daughter, Michelle (Brian) Pontzer; his grandchildren, Austin, Brittany, Alexis, Evan, Matthew and Jayden; his great grandchildren, Timothy and Harper; his brother, Mark (Tina) Fields; and his sisters, Jeanine Fields and Ann Constantine.

In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Fields; as well as his sisters, Jackie Coco, Debbie Bickerdike and Cheryl Fields.

Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA. had the honor of providing the final arrangements for Mr. Fields.

There will be no services held.

His family suggests memorial contributions be made in his memory to Gateway Humane Society, 1211 Airport Road, Falls Creek. PA. 15840.
