Michael Meyer

Michael G. Meyer, age 52, of St. Marys PA, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Highland View Nursing Home in Brockway, PA.

Mike was born on March 8, 1966  in St. Marys, PA.  He was the son of the late Harold E. Meyers and Joan K. Steel Hynds.  Mike attended St. Marys Area High School.  He was married to Debroah Coder on March 23, 1986, she survives.  He was of the Catholic Faith.

Mike loved collecting knives, spending time in the woods, and tinkering in his workshop.

Along with his wife he is survived by five sons, Charlie and wife Leandra, Travis and wife Myra, Matt and wife Sherry, Devon and wife Kristin, Wyatt Buck Meyer; five daughters, Nichole and husband Leroy Jr. Meyer, Ariel and husband Jordan Kennison, Zanah and husband Brian Sheperd, Lillie "Nikki" Lovell, and Melissa Meyer.  Also surviving is a brother Brian "Barb" Meyer; two sisters, Janet and husband Roy Pritt, Sharon Erich, and twelve grandchildren.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son Adam Meyer at birth, and a brother Randy Meyer.

Per the family's wishes, there will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.  Funeral arrangements have be entrusted to the Furlong Funeral Home, Gregory K. Furlong FD, corner of Broad St. and First Ave., Summerville, PA.
