Michael G. Zimmerman

Michael G. Zimmerman, 69, of Brookville died Sunday, October 20, 2024 at UPMC Presbyterian from a sudden illness.

Born in Brookville on January 9, 1955, he was the son of the late Robert and Margaret Albertson Zimmerman.

He was a graduate of Brookville Area High School and National Hardwood Lumber Grading School in Tennessee.

On June 18, 2014 in Brookville he married the former Timothy Bailey. He survives.

Prior to his retirement in October of 2010 he had been employed by Brookville Wood Products.

His memberships included Reynoldsville American Legion and Reynoldsville Eagles.

He enjoyed playing pool, darts, making people laugh and bowling of which he bowled perfect games multiple times.  

His survivors include his husband, Timothy Zimmerman; his brothers, Allan (Carol) Zimmerman and John Zimmerman; and his sister, Diane Zimmerman.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gary, Harry and Barker Zimmerman, Sr.; his sister, Margaret Barker Dennison; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held June 1st, 2025, from 1-5PM at Dubois Country Club.

Memorial donation may be made in Michael’s memory to Shriners Children’s Hospital.
