Obituary
Minnie D. Hidinger, 77, of Byrnedale, died Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Penn Highlands Dubois following a sudden illness.
Born on January 21, 1944 at Weedville, she was the daughter of Samuel and Ruby Heidrich Carpin.
She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Kersey and had been employed at Wal-Mart in Dubois for over 25 years.
Traveling and spending time with her family and grandchildren were her preferred pastimes.
Her survivors include her son, Trev Hidinger; her daughter, Beth (Gregg) Rafferty; her brothers, Leroy (Elda) Carpin, Donald (Susan) Carpin and Ronald (Sandy) Carpin; her sister, Joyce (Rodney) Weidner; three grandchildren, Jared, Blake and Tayler Rafferty; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Those preceding her in death in addition to her parents are her son, Todd Hidinger; and her sister, Norma Erich.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Boniface Church located on 355 Main Street, Kersey, PA 15846, on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at 10:00AM, with the Rev. Ross Miceli, Pastor, officiating.
Covid restrictions and protocols will be observed for all services held.
Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, Pa. was entrusted with all final arrangements for Mrs. Hidinger.
