Nathaniel David Nalder, 38, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018.
Nate was born on February 17, 1980 in Carson City, NV to Susan Cole and John Nalder. He was raised outside of Philadelphia, PA where he attended Pottsgrove High School and worked in landscaping. Nate loved to travel and visited and lived in many cities throughout the country including Philadelphia, PA, Sacramento, CA, Layton, UT and Colorado Springs, CO. He came to Reynoldsville, PA to be near family.
Nate loved music of all kinds and spent much of his time attending music gatherings and campouts with friends and family. He was an avid reggae and Grateful Dead fan and enjoyed playing musical instruments of his own, including the guitar and hand drums. Nate believed very strongly in the power of nature and love and family, which included friends from all over.
Nate is survived by his daughter, Isabella Mondragon-Nalder, his mother, Susan Cole, his father, John Nalder, his brother, Philip Nalder, and his sister, Brandy Gonzales. Nate was married to Michelle Holohan, who preceded his death on March 9, 2018. His wonderful spirit and never-ending optimism will always be remembered.
Guests will be received at 1:00 pm on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at the Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad Street, Summerville, PA. A memorial services will follow at 2:00 pm. A Life Celebration Gathering will follow immediately at the Summerville Church of Christ social hall, located at 12514 Harrison Street, Summerville, PA.
