Noreen L. Andrews

Noreen L. Andrews, 77, of Marienville died Wednesday, May 29, 2024 while at Penn Highlands Dubois following a decline in her health.

Born on November 29, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Frances Matuszewski and Veronica Peltz.

She was a graduate of John Adams High School and was of Catholic faith.

On June 22, 1964 in Cleveland she married Ronald E. Andrews. He preceded her in death on January 5, 2014.

Prior to her retirement she had worked at The Bucktail Hotel and Trail’s End Restaurant as a waitress.

Her pastimes included crafting, spending time with her family and as a younger woman, hunting.

She is survived by her sons, Paul (Annette) Andrews and Mike (Jody) Andrews; her daughter, Lisa (Chris) Meadors; her grandchildren, Alyssa, Kayla, Michael, Ryan, Brianna, Shaina, Mackenzie. Evan, Taylor and Eric; her great grandchildren, Gavin, Aubree, Greyson, Austin, Jayden, Julian, Isaiah, Sophia,Rowan, Lennox, Alexander and Blake; as well as her brother, Gerald (Karen)Matuszewski.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tracey Hemmis and grandchild, Tanner Andrews.

Furlong Funeral Home, 140 Cherry St., Marienville, Pa. has been entrusted with the final arrangements for Mrs. Andrews.
