Patricia A. Reed

Patricia A. Reed, 59, of Ringgold died Friday, June 21, 2024 while at Magee Womens Hospital following an illness.

Born in Brookville on June 13, 1965, she was the daughter of the late William Ramsey, Sr. and Bertha Arnold Ramsey.

She attended Brookville High School and Jeff Tech, continuing on with her education she obtained a degree in business from Dubois Business College.

On May 10, 1999 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico she married John W. Reed. He survives.

She was of Methodist faith. 

Her pastimes included crafting, reading, listening to music, puzzles and playing with grandchildren and her great grandson.

Those surviving in addition to her husband, John; are her children, Lacey (Matthew) Ramsey, Nicole (Andrew) Kalgren,Michael McCarthy, Kerry Clark, Mary Clark and Gail (Willie) Combs; her step children, Jeff Reed, James Reed and Jacob Reed; her grandchildren, Sierra (Moose), Brady (Ari), Cody, Abby, Joe, Brennen, Wesley, Chase, O’Ryon, Roman and 9 others in Chicago; her great grandchildren, Levi and 1 extended in Chicago; her siblings, Lisa (John) Cole and William “Billy” Ramsey, Jr.; as well as friends, Ruth “Diane” Haugh, Jackie Zents, Sherri Skinner and Shirl Doverspike.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 6-8PM at Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 11AM at the funeral home with Pastor Leroy Walters, officiating.

Interment will follow in the West Warsaw-Riggs Cemetery, Jefferson County.
