Patrick M. Skibinski

Patrick M. Skibinski, 85, of Marienville, died August 5, 2024 at his home following a period of declining health.

Born in Marienville, Pennsylvania on November 29, 1938, he was the son of the late Donald and Clara Belle Armstrong Skibinski.

He was a graduate of East Forest High School.

He proudly and honorably served his country with the U.S.Navy.

On June 9, 1961, at Marienville United Methodist Church he married the former Joanne Taft. She survives.

Prior to his retirement in June of 1996, he was a foreman for the Pennsylvania Game Commission.

Those surviving in addition to his wife, Joanne, are his son, Eric (Connie) Skibinski; his daughter, Leslie Skibinski; his sister, Glory Devlin; as well as 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his older sister Clara Walters.

Furlong Funereal Home, 140 Cherry St., Marienville has been entrusted with the final arrangements for Mr. Skibinski.

In accordance with his final request there will be no services held.

Interment will held at 1 PM on Saturday September 14, 2024 at North Forest Cemetery, Jenks Township, Forest County. Pastor Heidi Helsel will preside.
