Raymond Gruseck

Raymond F. Gruseck, 86, of Cooksburg, died Wednesday, June 14, 2023 while at Snyder Memorial Home following a period of declining health.

Born January 5, 1937 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Francis and Mildred Diebold Gruseck.

On June 16, 1956 in Pittsburgh, he married the former Mary Lou Riddle. She preceded her husband in death on October 10, 2013.

Prior to his retirement he was employed as a truck driver for Lyons Transportation Lines.

He was of Catholic faith.

Those surviving are his sons, Raymond Gruseck and David Gruseck; his daughter-in-law, Helen Gruseck; as well as his beloved granddaughter, Ronalenne Gruseck.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Gruseck.

Furlong Funeral Home, 140 Cherry St., Marienville, PA. has been entrusted with the final arrangements for Mr. Gruseck.

There will be no public services held.

Interment will be Monday, June 19, 2023 in North Forest Cemetery, Jenks Twp, Forest County with Rev. James Power, presiding.
