Richard Fielman

Richard E. Fielman, 90, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Marienville, passed away at Allegheny General Hospital on Friday, November 14, 2025 following a period of declining health.

Born on September 30, 1935 in Marienville, he was the son of the late Myron and Avonelle “Dot” Lease Fielman.

He was a graduate of East Forest High School and a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Forest County Sportsman’s Club and V.F.W.

On June 30, 1956 at St. Mary Church in Crown, he married the former Marlene Geyer. She preceded him in death on December 27, 2018.

Prior to retirement he was employed as a Thermographer for the Weatherization Program.

He was an avid hunter since the age of 12 and for many years participated in the Minstrel Show,  

He was a very LOVING father and enjoyed spending time with his family.

His survivors include his daughters, Vicki Patterson, Terri (Nico) Demelio and Lori (John) Sullivan; his grandchildren, Brett (Jessica) Patterson, Carly Sullivan and Ryan Sullivan; his great grandchildren, Arayna, Owen and Leo; as well as his extended family members.

Those preceding him in death in addition to his parents and wife are an infant brother, and his triplet grandsons, Austin, Brandon and Kyle Sullivan.

His family will receive friends on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Furlong Funeral Home, 140 Cherry St., Marienville, PA. from10AM-12NOON.

A mass of Christian burial will follow at 12:30PM on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Marienville, PA. with Rev. Cory Pius, pastor, as celebrant.

Interment will follow at North Forest Cemetery, Jenks TWP., ForestCounty.
