Richard “Sker” Skerkavich, 68, of Home, PA. died Thursday, July 25, 2024 at ACMH, Kittanning following a lengthy illness.
Born in Indiana, PA. on September 1, 1955, he was the son of the late William Skerkavich, Jr. and Beatrice Kwederavich Skerkavich.
Raised in Sagamore, PA., he was a graduate of Shannock Valley High School.
He worked in the past as a laborer for Cowanshannock Township, Musser’s Nursery and The Indiana County Workshop.
His survivors include his brothers, Ed (Rosie) Skerkavich and Mike (Shelby) Skerkavich; his sisters, Margie (Bill) Morgan, Dottie (Jim) Shields and Irene (Frank) Lassale; as well as several nieces and nephews.
His parents preceded him in death.
His family would like to extend their appreciation and thanks to the Topick family for the help they extended in assisting with his care.
Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA. has been entrusted with the final arrangements for Mr. Skerkavich.
There will be no public services held.
