Ricky W. Cable

Ricky W. Cable, 64, of Brookville, died in the early morning hours of Monday, May 31, 2021 at Penn Highlands Dubois following an illness.

Born in Brookville on November 11, 1956, he was the son of the late Robert and Elizabeth Snyder Cable.

He was a graduate of Brookville School and he was employed in the past by Brookville Equipment and Jefferson Paving.

He was a member of Brookville Fireman’s Club and Warsaw TWP Sportsman’s Club. His pastimes included feeding and watching birds and riding around in the car on the back country roads.

Those surviving are his two brothers, Bob Cable and Steve (Cheri) Cable; his three sisters, Sherry Altemus, Karen (Keith) Clinger and Dawn Gillung; and his much loved nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two favorite dogs, Daffy and Spank.

Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville was entrusted with the final arrangements for Mr. Cable.

Interment and committal service will take place at Riggs Cemetery.
