Robert Jackson Jr.

Robert “Bob” Jackson, Jr., 78, of Brockport, died Wednesday, January 1, 2025 while at Penn Highlands Dubois.

Born on January 30, 1946 in Punxsutawney, he was the son of the late Robert Jackson and Betty Sprankle Jackson.

He was a graduate of Punxsutawney High School.

Mr. Jackson proudly and honorably served his country with the U.S. Army.

On May 9, 1973 in Gaithersburg, MD. He married the former Barbara Cable. She survives.

Prior to his retirement in 2008 he worked as a truck driver and as a factory worker.

He enjoyed traveling.

Those surviving in addition to his wife are his sons; Rusty, David and Mark; his sister, Judy Lingenfelter; his grandchildren, Quenton, Coltyn, Sian, Dallan and Jason; and 4 great granddaughters.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his brother, Jon Jackson.

Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA. has been entrusted with the final arrangements for Mr. Jackson.
