Rose Wolfe

Rose A. Wolfe, 66, of Brookville, died Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Penn Highland Dubois following an illness.

Born December 27, 1954 in Brookville, she was the daughter of the late William and Caroline Dixon Preston.

She was a graduate of Brookville High School and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Brookville.

On June 9, 1973 at Dutch Hill Free Methodist Church she married David P. Wolfe. He survives.

She worked in the past at Jefferson Manor, Super 8 Motel and Gold Eagle.

Her pastimes included traveling, shopping and spending time with family and friends, but her grandchildren “Were Her Life.”

Those surviving in addition to her husband, David, are her daughters, Tabitha Coyne and Veronica Schreckengost; her brother, Clair Preston; her sister, Mary Preston; as well as her 4 grandchildren, Everett (Varissa) Coyne, Tristin (Destiny) Coyne, Jasmine and Katie Schreckengost.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Preston, and a sister, Ruth Stephens.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 2-5PM at Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA.
