Samuel “Gater” Hannah, 75, of Johnsonburg, died Saturday, March 22, 2025 at his home following an illness.
Born in Kane on September 5, 1949, he was the son of Frank and Barbara Hannah Bradybaugh.
Mr. Hannah proudly and honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
He spent 44 years with his partner, Linda Gadley. She survives.
Mr. Hannah was a “Jack of All Trades” and was known as the Marienville Handyman for many years.
His pastimes included working on cars and reading Westerns, but he LOVED spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his partner, Linda, he is survived by his sons, Merle (Amanda) Hannah and Daniel Hannah; his six grandchildren, Natalie, Wynna, Annabelle, Wyatt, Lynda Jo and Savannah; his brothers, Shannon (Holly) Bradybaugh, Gary Bradybaugh, Dan Bradybaugh and Frank (Vicky) Bradybaugh; and his sister, Deb Gadley.
Those that preceded him in addition to his parents are his son, Jason Hannah who passed on March 11, 2025, and his grandson, Kaylan Hannah.
His family will receive friends on Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 11AM-1PM at Furlong Funeral Home, 140 Cherry St., Marienville, PA.
Interment will follow at Guitonville Cemetery, Forest County.
His family suggests memorial contributions be made in his memory to the Veteran’s Club of Marienville.
