Susan Losey

Susan “Sue” Losey, 52, of Marienville passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025, while at West Penn Hospital following an illness.

Born on December 31, 1972 in Warren, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Erma Carlson Losey.

She was a graduate of Sheffield High School.

In Marienville on November 22, 2013 she married Joseph Cochran. He survives.

At the time of illness she worked as an Area Manager for Sunrise In-Home Care.

Her grandchildren brought her greatest JOY.

In addition to her husband, Joseph, she is survived by her daughters, Karissa (Matt Preston) Losey and Cassie Cochran; her grandchildren, Leah, Avery, Carter and Brantley; her brothers, Howard “Skeeter” (Cheryl) Losey, Ray (Shannon) Losey, Donald “Doc” Losey, John “Snoopy” Losey, Robert “Bobby” (Joanne) Losey and William “Willie” (Tracy) Losey; her sisters, Donna (Bob) Morse, Carol Anderson, Rhonda (Jim) Smith, Alice (Rodney) Nicholson, Lisa (Lou) Laning and Laurie Billman; her father-in-law, James (Toni) Cochran; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Those preceding her in death in addition to her parents are her brother, Roger Losey and her mother-in-law, Dorothy Kimmel.  

As per Sue’s wishes there will be no public services held.

Furlong Funeral Home, 140 Cherry St., Marienville, PA has been entrusted with the final arrangements for Mrs. Losey.
