Obituary
Theodora “Dora” Vis, 96, of Walnut St., Brookville, passed away peacefully late Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at her home following a period of declining health.
Born on August 26, 1926 in Deventer, Netherlands, she was the daughter of the late Karl and Marie Klunder Epping.
On January 12, 1950 in Deventer, Netherlanders she married Evert Vis. He preceded her in death on January 16, 2004.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and flowers.
Her survivors include her son, William (Fiordaliza) Vis; her grandson, Evert Vis; her granddaughter, Eliza Vis; and her two nephews, Ben (Sue) Nikkles and Robert (Toniann) Nikkles; and two nephews.
Her parents, husband; her sister, Hendricka Nikkles preceded her in death.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 2-4PM with a funeral service to follow at 4PM with Randy Matheny, officiating at Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville,PA.
Interment will be in Wenonah Cemetery, Glouster County, NJ.
