Thomas G. Reesman, Jr., 53, of Punxsutawney died the afternoon of November 30, 2022 at his home following a courageous 3 year battle with cancer.
Born on February 22, 1969 in Kittanning, he was the son of the late Thomas G. Reesman Sr.
On July 15, 2005 in Dayton he married the former Marie Zimmerman Reesman. She survives.
Prior to retiring in March 2020 due to poor health, he had been employed as an oil field mechanic for Falcon Drilling.
When his health permitted he was a Volunteer Fire Fighter and with the Fire Police for 10 years.
His pastimes included hunting, camping and fishing, tinkering in his shed and spending time with his family.
Those surviving in addition to his wife, Marie, are his son, Thomas W. Reesman; his daughters, Mable (Ricky Jr.) Elder, Rachel (Norman) Guyer and Randi (Tyler) Deitman; his brother, Richard (Lynn Miller) Shupe; his grandchildren, Lilli Guyer, Koby and Kylanni Elder, and Victoria Deitman; as well as his beloved fur babies.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother, Vera Reesman.
Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA. has been entrusted with the final arrangements for Mr. Reesman.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
