Valerie Santaniello Obituary

Valerie J. Santaniello, 75, of Wilcox died the afternoon of Monday, April 19, 2021, at her home following an illness.

Born in St. Marys on February 14, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret Salamon Santaniello.

She attended Johnsonburg Schools and was of the Catholic faith.

Her pastimes included crossword puzzles and coloring.

Those surviving are her lifelong companion, Richard Mawn; her daughter, Breann Santaniello; her sisters, Rita Gahr, Mary Nicholas, Delores Lindgren and Cecilia Weaver.

In addition to her parents, two brothers, Anthony and Andrew Santaniello; and four sisters, Ann Struble, Teresa Bauer, Kathleen Wilson and Elizabeth McClain precede her in death.

Furlong Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements for Ms. Santaniello.

A memorial mass will be held at 10AM on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg.
