Wayne S. Flack, 90, of Brookville, died Sunday evening, July 17, 2022 at his home following a period of declining health.
Born in Summerville on March 11, 1932, he was the son of the late John and Marie Plyler Flack.
He attended Summerville School and proudly served his country with the US Air Force.
Retiring in 1994 he was a member of Brick Layers Union Local#10.
His memberships include the Brookville VFW and he was a member for over 55 years of the Brookville Eagles.
He enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, bird watching, camping, woodworking, watching the Pirates and Steelers play and NASCAR races.
Those surviving are his sons, Larry Flack, Gregory Flack, Mike (Patty) Flack and Tim Flack; his daughters, Paula Wangler, Nancy (Sam) Marshall, Brenda (Joe) Spangler and Lisa (Rick) Ross; his brother; Harry Flack; his 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; as well many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Curtis, Leroy and Don Flack and sister, Louise Johns; as well as his long time companion, Rosemary Bower.
Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA. has been entrusted with the final arrangements for Mr. Flack.
As per his wishes there will be no services held.
Interment will be in Temple Cemetery, Hazen, Jefferson Co.
