William I. “Billy” Reitz, III, 33, formerly of Brookville, died Thursday, December 14, 2023 at UPMC Altoona.
Born in Brookville on January 7, 1990, he was the son of William I. Reitz, II and Nancy McQuown Keough.
He was a 2008 graduate of Brookville Area High School and obtained a welding degree from Triangle Tech in 2009.
While at Brookville Elementary he was the 6 time All Area Champion in Wrestling and was the 1st National Freestyle & Grecco Roman title holder.
Prior to a lengthy illness he worked in the oil fields.
His pastimes included hunting, Go-Cart Racing and tattoos.
In addition to his parents he was survived by his step father, Chris Keough; his sister, Jolene Reitz; his maternal grandparents, John and Charlotte McQuown; his nephew, Aiden Fyock; his niece, Mia Zimmerman; as well as many extended family members.
His paternal grandparents, Bill and Sandy Reitz preceded him in death.
His family will receive visitors from 3-7PM on Wednesday, December, 27, 2023 at E.U.M. Church in Brookville. A memorial service will follow at the church at 7PM .
Interment will be in Windy Hill/ St. Johns Cemetery, Stanton, Jefferson County.
